Trezeguet struck his first two goals of the season inside a three minute time span as Aston Villa denied Fulham crucial points in their Premier League survival bid.
Aleksandr Mitrovic put the visitors in front just after the hour mark to give the Cottagers hope of securing a crucial victory on the road following a glaring error from Tyrone Mings.
Mings under-hit his back pass to Emiliano Martinez and the Serbian striker pounced to confidently round the Villa goalkeeper and roll the ball into an unguarded net.
The England defender later made amends for his error as he had a hand in Villa’s equaliser.
The central defender worked his way into the Fulham box and drilled the ball across the penalty area where Trezeguet steered a lovely finish past Alphonse Areola for his first goal of the season.
The Eygptian then put Villa in front, guiding home Keinan Davis’ cross from close range to double his tally for the campaign before Ollie Watkins sealed the points with three minutes to play.
