Alte singer, Tems took to her verified Twitter account to reminisce on her arrest on the 14th of Dec, 2020 in Uganda.

Recall Tems and Omah Lay were arrested for violating the country’s COVID 19 regulations. You would also recall how the case escalated and Nigerians took to social media to demand for their release after Uganda Government promised to persecute them to the full extent of the law.

Recounting the experience, Tems wrote that she is yet to believe all the things she has seen. She revealed that with all that happened to her, she has testified that God is awesome and he will always have the last laugh.
