The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, has been conferred another honorary doctorate degree.

Naija News reports that the renowned and respected clergyman was presented with the honorary degree on Thursday night at his church’s auditorium during the ongoing 2022 Holy Ghost Congress tagged ‘Double Portion’.

The latest development makes it the eighth doctorate degree Adeboye will have to his name. The degree was conferred on Adeboye by the President of Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States.

Presenting the doctorate degree to Adeboye before thousands of worshippers at the Redemption City ground in Ogun State last night, the Oral Roberts University President said: “Tonight I am here to present Doctor of Divinity for distinguished service and spiritual leadership to Enoch Adejare Adeboye.

“Adeboye could not be with us in Tulsa for the ceremony. I decided to bring his degree to him here in Nigeria.

“It is my pleasure as Tusla President to grant Dr E.A. Adeboye the Honorary Degree of Doctor of Divinity for distinguished services, and spiritual leadership with all rights, privileges and immunities pertaining to there, here and elsewhere.

Receiving the honour, Adeboye prayed: “Thank you, I want to decree to you, In the name that’s above every other name, you will all be greater than I.”
