Five Suspected Human Parts Dealers Arrested in Ogun State for Exhuming Corpses from Graves

In a recent development, the Ogun State Police Command has apprehended five individuals suspected of dealing in human parts.

The suspects, identified as Oshole Fayemi (60), Osemi Adesanya (39), Ismaila Seidu (30), Oseni Oluwasegun (69), and Lawal Olaiya (50), were taken into custody while planning an operation. The Police Public Relations Officer, SP Abimbola Oyeyemi, disclosed the information in a statement on Sunday. According to Oyeyemi, the suspects have been extracting body parts from exhumed corpses for ritual purposes. The group was caught by police after a tip-off that they were planning to carry out another round of grave robbing in the Ososa community of the Odogbolu Local Government Area. The police have transferred the suspects to the State Criminal Investigation Department for further investigation and prosecution, as directed by the state Commissioner of Police, Frank Mba.
